i found two things.

1. in the trailer when you are getting dug up by the robot the calafornia guy is wearing a pip boy??? how did he get it? (if you look close enoguh you will see it.)

2. so in the game you have a pip boy how did you get it? you were not born in the vault... i have a theorey maybe doc mitchel gives it to you. but still if he did that brings another question how did Doc mitchel get it?

after he fixes you up, he gives you his old vault 21 suit and his pip boy i think, or something like that cos i read it i a magazine

No...you get the Pipboy from Doc Mitchel, who is supposedly an Ex-Overseer. He patches you up...
You don't keep up with this stuff, do you? This has been common knowledge for at least five months now.

1. Not a pipboy. Seriously, people don't recognize how they look anymore?

2. Given to you by Doc Mitchell indeed, along with a Vault 21 jumpsuit. Common knowledge by now.
