Something that I'm really curious about is how the online MP will work. What happens for the winners and losers after each match?

as far as i know you get a big green Mission Completed for winning and a red Mission Failed for loss, then the campaign continues as planned, i'd assume winners get an exp bonus.
this all based on an assumption and some old video i saw and I don't know when or where, so no links, sorry.

Winners move on to the next map/mission, losers stay on the current one and face a new team. I believe that was stated in one of the interviews. gotta find it. essentially its 'winners walk.'

So how does the defenders win? Is there a timer that the attackers have to complete the mission by?

from what i've seen on game plays and vids, yes. they have like fifteen minutes to complete one part of the mission. and then get a new timer for the next part after they complete it. I think. I have no hard evidence.

Yes. Each major objective has a time limit attached to it. If the attacking team cannot complete the objective within the allotted time they lose. If you are playing the campaign, then the winners will move on to the next mission in their campaign, and the losers will retry the current mission against different opponents. In free play, it most likely works like your standard multiplayer. One team wins, one team loses. New, random map. Players get scrambled.

Don't quote me on that though.

I think it would be cool if when playing the campaign and you lose a match, your team still continues the story but in a different way.

I think I remember seeing a video that had TKing make you lose some XP, but I don't believe losing has any penalties if that's what you were leaning towards.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking and used shorthand... TKing is team killing. I saw the video and the player accidentally shot a teammate with his shotgun, and he lost some XP for shooting him. Not a huge amount, but certainly noticeable.
