Well, I'm currently doing the "Come Fly With Me!" Quest and if this guy "Chris Haversam" tries to talk to "Jason Bright" over the Intercom and Jason starts to talk he suddenly stops talking and then says something (He is standing near the rockets and you can hear him speak from there) like " Thank you." "Your arrival was a 'blessdness'...". After he says that everything goes to complete stop!
Chris doesn't say anything anymore, Jason neither. Just all those space suit people downstair randomly say "Hi!" "Good Evening!" and stuff...

I got the Austrian Version and set to german language. Haven't tried this in english yet. Might try it and give further information later.

I think you need to go to the observation tower. i was "stuck" in the same spot as you are.

the next part of the quest is that you go to the observation tower to observe the rockets going off.

And where is that?
