Freezes and sound issues

First let me say. I LOVE FALLOUT, I've loved fallout since the first game and it was new for me to play fallout 3 being so different from 1 and 2. So it really svcks that Fallout: NV is such a mess of bugs, crashes and game freezes. I am level 22 and been alot of places down south, found ED-E, Boone, Aruthor Gannion and Cassidy (shes dead, sold her soul for caps) was saving going to the Strip. Started going to the casinos, playing at the Ultra Lux and now the game crashes more then ever to the point where its unplayable! It loads in the Ultra lux I move about 5 feet and it freezes. Load up another game in the Ultra lux and same thing 5 feet and it freezes. So I load a game where I am at Recon HQ (Still at Level 22) can finally move around now. Travel to the strip by taking the subway from Camp Macarren and get to the strip and it FREEZES AGAIN! Also when I reset and load the game the character voices fade away mid sentence so I reset again!

The game is ver 1.02 and its plays like crap. I almost want to take it to the store I bought it at and demand my money back! This is a defective product and its bull that we as gamers can't demand that Video Game companies release working products! Instead they can hide behind the out dated NO Refunds policy of stores. Would you except this level of defect in anything else you buy such as a Stereo that doesn't work anything less the 100%?

Its time for change of how these big video game companies do business. Without us gamers buying their games they won't exist!

Another sound issue I noticed was sometimes while talking to an NPC a very loud "static" sound would play, like when you turn your TV on and nothing's connected to it and you get the snowy screen and static. Very annoying.

@OP: I agree completely, but I doubt a store will take it back after it's been opened. Some people in the UK were able to, and I think I've read posts about other people returning it to Gamestop, but after I tried returning my Collectors Edition game & guide they said "no, we can't do that. you'll have to take it up with Bethesda's customer support.

Bethesda's customer support said they would get back to me 3 months ago. Still waiting on them. What a sorry excuse for a company.
