Trying to do the quest Render Unto Ceasar, unfortunatly once I enter the inner camp in the fort and go towards ceasars tent the guard dog and body guard guy instantly turn hostile and attack me. I have no reputation with the legion as I have never encountered up until I left one of the casinos on the strip and the man in with the hat approached me asking me to go visit ceasar. Since this quest is required to move on in the story I cant really do much else. Ill say that im unarmed and currently disguised as a member of the legion yet they still attack me for seemingly no reason.

Any companions?

Nope, I have boone as a companion, but I left him at a hotel on the stirp

I had the same issue, as long as Boone is still a member of your party the Legion will be hostile towards you. You can't just tell him to wait, you have to actually tell him to leave your party and stay at the Lucky 38. It makes it damn near impossible to do Legion missions with Boone.
