Like I said I havent seen this brought up. But there are a lot of threads so I may have missed it.

Sometimes my 360 has problems reading what the New Vegas disc is. So far I have had it twice where it said that I had a dvd in the tray when infact it was NV. Both times I loaded it by accident and it froze my 360 and the the screen would start to get really weird and I would have to unplug it to shut it down.

Maybe this issues is a cause or result of some of the bugs?

If your 360 cannot read the DVD properly then it could be:
a) There is a manufacturing defect with your DVD.
b) Your 360s DVD drive is on its way out.
c) The DVD is dirty.

Really? If it was one if those things then why would I waste my time telling you guys? The disc could be a defect, but I believe it has something more to do with some of the bugs. Not to mention that this is the first time my 360 has ever had an issue with reading a disc let alone not being able to figure out if its a game or movie. Also it only does this with NV. I havent had a problem with anyother games or movies.

I randomly get this as well with NV, but i do get this problem once in a blue moon with some of my other games. It doesn't bother me to much. I just take the disc out and put it back in, or switch my xbox on and off.

I get this from time to time with any game, not just New Vegas. A quick open and close of the tray fixes it.
