So How is It?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:17 am

So I want to jot down some quick questions first. I'm getting a bit tired of playing the semi-real shooters that use "real" guns. And I'm a bit tired of Halo. So Brink seems like a bit of fresh air. The character look a bit cartoonish but hey not my main worry.

How are the matches like? Objectives, teamwork, etc...

Class selection, how exactly does it work?

Gun Balance?

Body type balance?

The running and jumping element well done?

My friend had bought it and complains about lag, is this true on your end?

From what I've seen, most people have been bickering non stop about lag. Quick solution (maybe) is installing the game to your HDD, or possibly playing the competitive mode (?) which I've heard is 5v5 (how it should be played in my opinion)

From the videos I've watched, movement looks pretty solid, and gun balance seems to be pretty well done. This is only from what I've seen in a few videos. So, of course there is more than what I've seen. I will be getting the game tomorrow, and will let you know more about it when I have played a couple hours.

theres around 15 - 25 pieces for each part of the body - hair and head gear - facial hair - scars and face paint - jackets -shirts -pants - body tattos

about 12 different faces you can choose from then the skin tone

weapons most have 4 slots and theres about 5 different scopes silencer for each 4 different types of mags and then grenade launch barrell

Not as much as they make it out to be but enough...hopfully more will come via dlc

when they said near endless amount of customization just means all together mixing and matching it is near endless but you'll have to grab it and find out for yourself

15-25 thats a bit but not as much as they make it out to be as you said. I was thinking like near a hundred per slot or so.

Also I think the DLCs should be free if their like that promising so much.

Also can you apply a different color to the shirts and pants?

But I'm tired of having nothing to play online but BF2 or COD. So I think this will be a nice change of pace.

Im sure further down the line they will drop some downloadable content for customization. It's only 3 days after release, can't expect all that much.

It just better be free.

Which it won't. meh...

But I'm aiming for that grenade belt and a brown shirt if possible.

Since when do companies release free DLC? The free you're looking for would be a patch to fix the lag everyones crying about.

A lot do.. To keep there customers interested.

Assassins Creed:B did... 2 DLC actually.

Purchasing Battlefield:BC2 New usually got all their free DLC

Companies do it. Just not often.
