Will Honest Hearts Be Available in Time?

Probably not, but we're not far off now. Just the fact that online gaming is now back up is another step in the PSN being fully active again. I'd say if we're really lucky at the earliest, we'll see the PSN store up next week(the 23rd) I believe they will bring the store back up on the Tuesday update cycle. Just not this coming Tuesday. We can only hope the PSN Store is up before HH releases, but like I said that probably won't be the case.

A week or two delay is probably going to happen. I wouldn't want Sony to get the network back up for 12 hours and then they have to shut it down again because they forget to shut X door and some hacker got in again. A couple weeks delay isn't a big deal, Old World Blues comes out in June so it won't be that big of a deal whenever Honest Hearts comes out.

I wonder if OWB's release will be affected by the PSN store. Lets say hypothetically the PSN store doesn't come back up until the first week of June, they would have to delay OWB to allow the PS3 players, a chance to fully play and enjoy HH. Unless OWB is coming out in late June it could be delayed.

Unless they've changed their plans, I thought they said last week that while they hoped to get the service back up "soon," the PSN store wasn't coming back until the end of the month?

Okay so what exactly happened to the PSN, I know someone hacked it but what did they all do? Im uninformed when it comes to PS3's lol.

Lucky, Canda's getting it last, means no Cod party until mid week maybe <_<

Oh and to the guy above me, basically someone found out how to jailbreak the Ps3, same guy that jailbroke the iphone I think. Sony didn't like that, cracked dowm on him. Some group didn,t like that, cracked down on Sony, yadayadayada. The original group that hacked stopped because they realized they screwed up the community and didn't let people play and they weren't for that. Some credit card numbers got stolen along with some other stuff by another group( i think) and....yeah. Sony's been rebuilding theyre security system ever since. Been almost a month.

NOTE: My explanation isn't the most accurate seeing as I don't really care about the matter to much, so take that as a summary.

I got an update for ps3, but PSN is not working for me.

It made me do the user agreement thing again, but still says under going maintenance. It acted like it was going to work, but it does not.
Do you think my ps3 f ed up?

Any ideas on why this is happening? I live on the east coast of the U.S.

Your PS3 is not messed up, the network is being brought up state by state. Check the link below and watch the map as it updates which states have it.

OK I looked on playstation s web site and it shows which states are good to go. Ohio (my state) is not green yet, so I don t have to get worried yet.

Looks like most of the New England states, and Cali should be working for on line play.

I would hope not. 360 and PC users should not have to be punished because Sony got hacked IMO.

I ll fully enjoy HH way before OWB comes out. As long as the playstation store is up by the 31st like they said.

I doubt OWB is scheduled for June 1st. My guess is the middle of June, which will give us ample time to fully enjoy HH.

Oh man I'm glad I don't have a PS3, I live in Kansas lol, but anyways its good to see that the PSN is coming back online now.

I haven't seen anything on any official Sony blogs about Canada, but I'm sure Canada will follow America. The online gaming part of the network probably won't be fully restored until tomorrow or Monday.
