You know how there are two footlockers in the Brotherhood Bunker, one right before you enter the door to the base, and one right as you enter the base in that room near Paladin Ramos's office? Does anybody know if it's safe to store equipment in either of those footlockers for Honest Hearts? I don't want my companions stealing my equipment in the Lucky 38 suite.

Lucky 38 isn't the Only House You know

I know, there's the novac house, but i got Jeannie May killed ,so i don't think i can get that room

I believe that all containers in all of the safe houses are safe to store items in.

Just become liked in Novac. The dino bite shopkeep will give you the key.

Not sure about the one just before you go down the stairs, but I wouldn't trust the one below, to the left near Ramos' office.

There are a number of early houses with safe storage like Victors shack in good springs, or the nevada highway patrol buildind along the road past primm all the containers in either location are safe.

It taken me 3 trips fully loaded (including companions) to transfer my stuff from Novac to the Lucky 38.

OK so Novac is not a option due to ... oversight but still Novac is not the only option, Safehouses might be a issue since, for example, the fridges in the Followers Safehouse are not safe since they are set to restock but the Brotherhood of Steel safehouse is safe.

Also you can get the Novac room key from Cliff in case May suffers a severe case of lead poisoning.

just dont send people to the 38 (rex & eddie are safe though).

or use one of the faction houses or novac, just make sure you kill the person in there, they take your stuff too.

and the fridges in the followers house arent safe

I store all my stuff in lucky 38 and have never had any trouble with my companions stealing anything..

I've only ever seen them steal food. They all seem to have a fondness for my nuka cola victory collection.

@OP: What is so bad about them taking your equipment? If they do, just tell them to follow you then open their inventory and take it back. Although, if Honest Hearts causes any glitches like DM did, some of your companions may just disappear. You could also just tell all of them to go home instead of to the Lucky 38.
