Not sure if I will get this add on i didnt get dead money but I was wondering 2 things.
First will this raise the lvl cap any, and if so by how much.
Secondly I love new vegas and every aspect of it but its gettin boring the more I complete I was wondering if there was any citys in the new update that I can visit like maybe a small tribe that sells stuff or will it be strictly a story line and i am banished never to return like dead money.

Each DLC will raise the level cap by 5. If you get all 4 DLC's you will be able to level your character to level 50. Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road you will be able to return to.

Dead Money is actually a lot better than most people assume. It's a unique dlc that focuses on a more unique way to play fallout. The story itself is good enough to warrant buying just try to get the health regen implant if you decide to and unless you want a difficult challenge be at a decently high level. The level up and extra perks (as well as the items are also able to be taken out of the dlc.

Reviewers of the dlc expected and reviewed Dead Money expecting it to be like previous dlc content released and it isn't. Obsidian went a unique route in creating Dead Money and tried to do it in a horror/suspense/intelligence matter. They wanted people to not just go in and be able to wipe everything out. Some things don't make sense but it is worth getting.

all the other dlc is able to be returned to and there might be other incentives as well that we don't know about yet

honest hearts is about waring tribes so the likelihood of one of them having a selling outpost is pretty high.

might even to get a player home in a future dlc or take companions out to the other regions of the mohave. we don't know yet.

I'm guessing HH will have at least some vendors and optional areas to explore otherwise being able to return kinda doesn't mean much to me. DM certainly was unique and I thought it told at very complex and thought provoking story while changing how you played the game it was really an eye opener as to what Obsidion planned to do with the dlc not just simply rehashing things from the main game but creating something new and different. I really like how dead money had a theme and it appears their continuing this in HH and hopefully the other dlc's since I felt it tied the whole thing toghether and it really made me sit there and think after I beat it.
