The "Come Fly with Me" quest will corrupt your save game. It happens about 1/2 way through the mission every time. I have played it 3 time and it always corrupts my save game with the DLC error glitch. Just skip this quest for now... Do all the other Novac quests, then move on down the road. This quest is not critical to the story and you can come back to it after the patch (hopefully). If you want to play this game, skip this quest for now. I have read there are some other glitched mission higher up...but I have not run into them yet. This one is a save game killer though.... I played all weekend (and avoided the DLC glitch) by just not doing this mission.

It's pretty lame though that Bethesda hasn't patched this already. It is obvious the mission saves incorrectly....It can't be that hard to find and fix the offending code.

I was done with the quest before I even applied the patch, and never encountered the bug.

Yeah I didn't encounter problems either but point taken, there are certain things you should avoid when playing this game. This quest being one of them.

lost 5 hours of good gaming and good loot, and now that that problem is passed all my loading times are really slow, even going into a house or something like that?!

anyone else suffering from really slow loading (60sec +) after they had the "come fly with me" corrupt saved game.

Didn't encounter that bug. I have no patch, 30 hours in, and despite my game crashing quite a few times in a row at one point, I haven't ran into anything yet.

This quest completes fine using the Speech challenges. Completed it on three seperate games, not one hickup.

I have completed this quest on 2 playthroughs. No problems

Seems this is an erratic bug, some people encounter it every time, others not at all. I myself played through that entire quest line and got no save game problems at all. others seem to have nothing but problems so a fix is needed badly, when we get it is anyone's guess...
