dev console?

I was wondering if anyone knows any news on a development console. i want to pre order the game. but i need to know if it will have one. my pc isnt very good so i have to play with the tlb console command (full bright) to have a decent fps. so if anyone knows or at least has an edjucated guess id like to know. thanks for your time

I don't believe it's been officially confirmed but I don't see why Obsidian would disable it, particularly since that would make complex modding for New Vegas prohibitive.

All the games Bethesda or Obsidian have made that I have played have it, so while I cannot 100% gurentee it, I 99.99999% promise it will be there. All the TES games have it, FO3, Neverwinter nights, etc. So it will be there.

Not to mention it comes in handy for fixing bugged scripts and further player customization. That's what I usually used it for in Fallout 3. I didn't like my female wanderer being six feet tall, so I fixed that, and I've had to fix many a bugged quest using the console.
