What is the reward for beating it all the way through? (Besides the achievement)

Sens of Role Play:

- finally there is a need to rest
- finally there is a need to eat
- finally ammunitions have a weight

i think that these are basic rules that MUST be respectet in a RPG.
:)

(these are usually mods i download in other rpg)

FO3 was terrible game (imho), but i decid to buy Fallout New Vegas ONLY because they put in this 3 important rules.
(the rest will be the same as FO3... i think... so, nothing special).

I hope there is some in-game bonus as well, like a T-Shirt that reads, "hardcoe".

In game, when choosing whether or not to turn on hardcoe mode for the first time, it says that there will be some sort of reward for completing the main quest without ever turning it off after that point.

I have no idea what it is, though.

An achievement.

I really hope you're wrong, lol.

Either way, I am not punishing myself by playing with hardcoe mode on until I know what the reward is.

You are all missing the point.

It's a game... you play it because it is fun to do so.

Asking for a reward is just silly, hardcoe is challenging, thus more fun than regular mode, the fact that the developers made this all possible is a reward itself.... NOT

I want a GOLDEN CROWN on my big head when i finish hardcoe mode, and a large SHINY SCEPTRE.

Awesome you don't want to play a realism mode just because your unsure about the reward?

Go you! normally people moan when game's are not brought into realism

Actually one of the creators during an interview made a point of saying if you complete the game in hardcoe mode you get a "special reward". Said exactly like that in quotes. I really doubt a "special reward" is just an achievement.

Yeah, what the hell?
This kid isn't damanding he be rewarded for playing hardcoe mode.
He's simply asking if someone knows what the reward is, since the developers said there would be one.
