well, I bought the nightscope for the varmint rifle. How do I put this thing on? Anyone figured this out yet? Also, can you only have one modification on a weapon at one time, or can i put extended mags on it as well?

I have not even played the game yet, but I think I read some place you can put up to 3 mods on any one firearm, I think.

Open up your Pipboy Inventory and go to a given weapon... if you have mods for that weapon in your inventory, there should be a "Mod" button enabled & lit up, in the upper right hand corner. Click that and it'll open up a submenu allowing you to slap the mod onto the weapon.

Mods are weapon specific - the Ext. Mag mod is for one of the pistols.

thats exactly what I need, thanks. And yea, the ext mags and scope are both for the varmint rifle.

Where did you find these things? I have looked at every vendor I have come across and found clips for the 9mm, and a laser rifle scope. Nada for the varmint rifle or anything else.

I've only gotten through the first town, but Chet had a scope for the varmint rifle & ext. mags for the 9mm. IIRC, merchant loot is somewhat randomized.

Yeah Chet had the 9mm clips but nothing else.
Guess its possible that no merchants will have anything then. Kind of a dissapointment as I was wanting to build a certain type of character using mods I had read about.
