I was just wondering what the highest strength requirement is for energy guns. I just got the game, but before I start, I want to know if I should tweak my build.

the highest is 6-8

these are:

gatling laser, heavy incinerator, plasma caster, tesla cannon, and tesla cannon: tesla beacon prototype

Apparently the Gatling Laser takes 8 and that's the heaviest.
