Even Google can tell you this one. It's being developed by Obsidian (NWN 2, KOTOR 2). Bethesda are more with a producer role. And it's called Fallout: New Vegas.

Yeah, Beth are the publishers, IMO from what we've heard so far New Vegas is going to be a big improvement over Fallout 3.

Well I hope they do a good job on it and not try to make it a KOTOR game. Don't get me wrong those are great games, I just want this to be along the same lines as Fallout 3.

Uh, we all said pretty much. Its being developed by Obsidian, but Bethesda is publishing it.

They are mostly people who created the original Fallouts, they know what they are doing.

The game is being developed by OBSIDIAN. Bethesda oversee and will publish the game... Yeah, you won't get it.

Alright well are they at least going to use the same engine I disliked the old Fallout 1, 2. and Tactics engines.

They are using Fallout 3's engine, it has the same exact graphics as Fallout 3.

Based on that I'd say you don't either.

It's simple. Bethesda owns the copyright to Fallout. They got an engine used for FO3 that they will never use again for another game. They decided to lease out the engine and the license to another developer (that's Obsidian) and they (Obsidian) are making a new game using Bethesda's FO3 engine. Get it?
