I haven't had any game stopping issues that everyones complaining about but:
Every now and then my game crashes for no reason, maybe every 4ish hours AND
every time I quit the game and come back is the my auto save NOT the right one, whats up with tthat

If you go in to Steam and disable the cloud saving features it will fix the autosave oddities. If you want to disable it entirely go to Steam on the top left menu bar, then Settings, and one of the last taps is Downloads + Cloud. If you just want to disable it for FONV go to your game library, right click on FONV, and go to properties.
