does anybody know what the latest word concerning patches is,ie when the next one is scheduled to be released etc .I believe they have released 1 already but i would be happy if they released one soon which adresses the framerate issues

Patch 2 has been released already as well. It's all pretty ridiculious considering the game has only been out for a few days. Some have said the second patch has fixed stuttering. If not, try the very early version of the new vegas stutter remover and the optimized DirectX dll's, both can be found on New Vegas Nexus. This game is really really really buggy lol

Probably not this weekend. I would expect the next hot patch to come out at the soonest Monday evening, latest Wednesday but you NEVER know.

They are using things their own customers have submitted here in THESE forums on their tech support page and taking the credit so that is what they are probably waiting on for the patches, or so it seems. Some of the moderators are giving credit in threads but even the post stickied at the top by G-staff doesn't

@ Beth - That's really low to not give credit to these customers for finding temp solutions, unless you knew about it all along and just didn't tell anyone it is obvious it was the customers that came up with the solutions for you. Don't be any more of a butt than you already have by not giving credit from the start.
