Time limit ?

I've just finished the NCR quest line up to the quest "You'll know it when it happens".

The reason for this was, that I needed the truce between the NCR and the Brotherhood so that Veronica can wear the _faction_ Brotherhood T-51b Power Armor without being shot by NCR troopers.

Momently there are the Rangers at Hoover Dam and I should talk to them. But don't want to ! I'm only Level 27 and want to finish any other quest and explore the rest of the map, because I want to reach Level 30 before the fight at Hoover Dam.

My question is:
Could I let Ranger Grant and the others wait and progress the quest later? Or is there a time limit and after a while President Kimball will land with his vertibird and the quest is fail?

Wrong section, But Veronica can wear T-51b armor without allying with them, at least she could with my character, you can do whatever quests until you initiate Kimball's landing by talking to the ranger I think.

Oh I see. Before the DLC forums started the New Vegas Forums were at the top of the Fallout Forums.

Sorry.

This armor acts as a Brotherhood of Steel disguise, which will make NCR hostile towards you (Unless you have peacefully completed the Brotherhood section of For the Republic, Part 2).

I assumed that it also counts for Veronica. My fault.

Happy Christmas ;)
