"end game" DLC I've always wanted to see...

FO3 is one of my all-time fav games. Waiting on FO: NV til the bugs are fixed, so I'll reference FO3 in the examples. Now then:

I'd like to see repeatable, epic end-game missions.

For example:
- You must fortify and hold Megaton/Tenpenny Tower/Ranger Compound/Citadel (or wherever) through waves and waves of enemies trying to take it.
- You must escort a special trade caravan, diplomat, scientist, etc. from one corner of the map, to the other, fending off threats all along the way.
- You must lay siege to a location, finally taking it.
- etc

These missions would take a long time. Maybe hours, based on difficulty.
Maybe you could even start a server, and team with friends. (I know, the least likely off all, due to making game with multi-player elements)

Every time I get to the end-game with a FO3 character, I feel like I've 'arrived' and all there is to do is mop up resistance, which while fun, is still limited; I have enough supplies to feed, cloth, and arm a small army... I always think how I'd love to do missions like this.

What do ya think?

Multiplayer?
Hold the fort?
Attack the fort?

Blauegh....
Uuurgle....
Bleh..

No thanks.
Ending sliders are there for a reason, I'd rather not continue the game to do... That...
Besides, multiplayer cannot be implemented into the game and even if it could they wouldn't spend time on it now.

Sounds like Borderlands Moxxi's DLC. No thanks. It was drudgeryl.

Although caravan escorting could show promise, but I wouldn't pay for it as a DLC.
