Downloadable Content Error - Please email (Link inside)

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:19 am

Okay basically I have had enough, this is people power, from the poll so far well over 150 people have experienced the error, and 66% of those who have taken the poll in total. Also have just been informed by another used that any affected games WILL not be fixed by any sort of patch...I'm not 100% sure about this but if its true....not good.

So PLEASE can we all send a short to the point email to the below support site (It takes 30 secs). You can copy and paste this if you wish....

Hi,

This email is to inform you that I have experienced the Downloadable Content Error on the Xbox 360. I recieve the following error -

"'This game relies on downloadable content that is no longer available. Some objects may be no longer available. Continue Loading? Y/N......Y = The storage device you selected in no longer available. Load canceled'

This error has made my game unplayable, and I will not restart a new game as it is obvious via the Xbox 360 Issues forum, that this bug can occur at any point during the game. Please what are you doing about this? Also will I be able to access any effected save games if and WHEN a fix is released?

Disgruntled Customer.

It is our right to report it via this link. Bethesda believes the following...

"On consoles, we are aware that a small group of 360 users are seeing a DLC warning which is preventing you from loading save games"

We need to make them aware that is is NOT a small group - but a Downloadable Content Lynch Mob, that are getting highly agitated! All you have to do is put the reason, email, name, and console. You can leave the rest blank...

The mere fact that they said they are aware of the issue, means it's a big deal to them and they are probably working diligently to address the issue.

You can't take everything that they say literally. They probably used the word "small" to keep the overall community in check, and let everyone feel that they are on top of everything. Now if they had said "large", then it would make people feel that Bethesda is doing a terrible job of managing and community confidence would fall as a result. They want to keep high hopes and the overall morale maximized.

Unfortunately, ^ this is probably very, very true. But Obsidian/Bethesda HAS acknowledged it. I'm sure they're working on it. Does it svck that it's been 2 weeks, yes, cause I am also a victim of this, but you gotta give them a chance. It's NOT a 100% replicable glitch, and a lot of people are experiencing it at different times in the game, after doing different things.

Give them time. It's a horrible situation, but I can GUARANTEE Obsidian will NOT let this glitch live on forever...it's too damning to them if they do.
