TV has a red wash when connected to computer

So I connect my computer to a new TV using VGA. It works. Then after restarting the TV has a bad red wash on the screen color, and changing color settings gets me nowhere. I tried the TV using a laptop and an HDMI cable and it was fine, but the VGA cable didn't work through the laptop either.

So I went out and got a DVI to HDMI cable to run from my desktop to the TV. Still has a red wash.

I've updated my GPU driver and it hasn't changed a thing. I don't know what else to do. The TV works fine under all other conditions, and I can't find anything wrong with the computer either. What could cause this red wash over the screen?

Edit: Sorry for any spelling errors. It's hard to see when everything is red. :P

Try using the DVI port that you have your norma monitor connected to and see if it makes a difference.

Have you tried tinkering with the settings in your video software on the PC?

Since it isn't the cable or the TV, obviously it's with the PC.

Also, the fact that it worked the first time, and only started acting up after restarting says something.

Typical troubleshooting is looking at the problem in a "flowchart" fashion.
Start with the settings in your computer's software, then look at the video card it's self.
Cable and TV have already been eliminated, so the issue is between the signal generated by the computer and the connection on the video card.
