Pre-Order Details.Is there Digital Download?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:01 pm

Hi guys.
Well in FAQ there is nothing about it,so i'd like to ask if anyone knows if there's a digital download of the game through anything EXCEPT Steam.

Also if there is one,i'd like to know that they don't have the system they used for Homefront,
i mean even if you bought the disc you still HAD to download a percentace of the game through Steam.
No one understands why is that and no one explained as to why they made it that way but the thing is that many issues came up,
so if you know a link or details about the pre-order,it would be much appriciated cause i don't want to use Steam ever again.

Thank you.

Steam will be needed nonetheless.

You have to use Steam to play online.

I don't think Homefront is a good reason to worry though. It was buggy on all platforms.

Hm,ok thanks guys.
I've been watching vids about the game, especially Dev interviews,i think the most important thing for a game costumer is to check these before any other "official" review,
and these guys (Splash Damage),they are so passionate about it that seems it worths pre-ordering it.
And hearing innovative/creative ideas especially for an FPS is extremely intresting and appealing.

The guys behind Medal of Honor were just as passionate. Even after showing us the Helicopter-Level, when most people were like "Oookaay ... that was it?"

But then again MoH was not a successful game because it tried to ride the Realistic Modern Warfare Shooters-Wave.
