For some reason some paper-pusher decided that the Collector's Edition of Fallout: New Vegas shouldn't be released in Europe. The game, which I pre-ordered the first chance I got, got cancelled for release and the pre-order was retracted. The games stores which offered them online all removed them from their databases. Trying to place a pre-order from an American store (like Amazon for instance) results in a message that the manufacturer has placed restrictions on the delivery address. It looks like whoever arranged this didn't just decide shipping/releasing to Europe wouldn't be cost effective, but they are actually actively preventing Europeans from getting the Collector's Edition.

What's going on here!?

Hoa that′s extreme it does feel like that they don′t care about us europeans at all not fair, not fair at all.

Still for me it doens′t matter much since i was only getting the normal one it′s just that the place i′m getting my game (amazon uk) doesn′t offer a package (like the classic), wich is strange because i got the codes for the armor and other stuff for mass effect 2.

Uh? Source? The Collector's Edition is still available from Game.co.uk. In fact, I still have my pre-order from there. I didn't take my time to check all the other sites, but I somehow doubt what you say it's true (they would have, at least, issued a statement on Bethblog).

At least you were able to order it before. In my country (Poland) there was no CE pre-order anywhere...

Thanks for your swift reaction, Miller. As soon as I was made aware of it, I visited Obsidian's website and from there I got routed to this forum. I'll certainly try to contact Nick or Gstaff, thanks for your suggestion. One thing needs to be added though: it seems that only the PC version of the CE has been cancelled. The console versions are still pre-orderable. Granted, the pc market is probably the smallest of them all, but that doesn't explain why they are actively trying to prevent shipping to Europe.

Again, sorry, but could you point to this store that canceled the PC Collector's Edition? Because that's certainly NOT happening for all of Europe, as I've already pointed out.

Gamestation in the UK are still taking pre-orders for the CE version,not 100% on PC,but for xbox 360 &PS3 they are.....why would that be different for PC?
It would cause a massive uproar.

Just checked my GAME.co.uk orders page and my collectors edition for PS3 is still listed as there (thank god), I have no clue about the 360 or PC versions, though I would think they'd too be available.
