I've run the installation again and AGAIN but the launcher still says 'install' instead of play. When I click 'install' it says it doesn't appear to be installed and to try setup.exe on my DVD drive, but that doesn't do crap. I've run the installation at least 10 times trying to fix this and it just won't work. I don't know what to do. 50 bucks down the toilet for this crap? I'm at my wits end!

Thanks for screwing me over Bethesda. You won't be getting another dime from me, and I'll be taking this back to Best Buy for my money back.

Someone please help. I got the game because I want to play it, not go through this hell of an installation process that won't even let me play a game I paid 50 dollars for. If there is a way to fix this I'd like to try it before taking it back. I've tried everything and it just won't install.

if you type your key number into the steam client, will it not download and install the game for you? Thats what i did even though i have the disc?

after install and before playing close and restart steam- this worked for me
