I have been recently playing Darksiders, and it really got me interested in the concept of angels and the kind being technologically advanced, primarily in their outward appearance. I've also seen this in Bayonetta. I am now wondering if there are any movies, books or other games that portray angels as this? Does anyone know of any that they could recommend? I have not seen this in any forms of media other than gaming, so books and movies are especially preferred. Thank you!
