Thanks to Loonyboi (jason bergman) it is confirmed that the new patch will go live tonight at 8pm EST 12 midnight GMT and YES you can and will have to update even with PSN down. I just updated to 1.04 right now

I've been trying since it went midnight here in GMT. Still nothing.

And 1.04 is the previous patch BTW. It seems PSN gives old updates, but not new ones.

just installed the ne patch and tried to play and noticed my armor and gun fromdead money is gone and so is my vault canteen. wtf? why is my dlc gone now? not just my new vegas dlc my fallout 3 and call of duty dlc is gone too.

Same here, i just goy it and i noticed my merc pack armor and grenade rifle was gone, what the heck is going on?!?!?

could have been a fault in your downloads. It might have had a bit of trouble downloading through the network since its not running full speed right now. as for the gun and the armor. I would try red ownloading dead money when psn is back up. As well as cod. its not like you have to pay for them again. It could be an issue with fragmentation or your hard drive. Should check back here periodically the next few days especially after the psn is back up for fixes.

all my dlc is gone, for every game . my new vegas game is screwed now.

sounds like more of a problem with your playstation not the patch.

I installed the new patch, logged in and my character was naked and with no gun. I had been using the armor and guns from Dead money. Great....I hope they fix this. I lost everything from Dead Money.

I also installed the new patch, and lost both my Classic Pack gear and the Dead Money stuff. I'm hoping if I reinstall the stuff, it'll show up, but I can't do that until PSN is back up. If it's a problem with the patch specifically, well... Hopefully they get it fixed soon. But for now, I'm okay. The Core game itself is fun, and I was going to start a new game anyway.

Delete the game data utility.

However, this will delete all the patches, and you will not be able to reinstall them one by one. You can redownload all of them at once when PSN comes back online.

Arrrgghh I just realized I lost all my gold too from Dead Money too!!

I think the loss of dlc is a psn issue cause the dlc every player has is stored there.

But more importantly when can we expect the patch in europe.. i am getting jealous over here
