Bugged Quests

Post » Tue May 10, 2011 6:09 am

At 83 hours into the game I have the following bugs;

Purchased/picked up carvan cards no longer add to deck.
Jars of powder and boxes of primer do not open and add to inventory for use.
Daniel Contreras unmarked mission heavily bugged. Cannot broker deal between him and Keller despite the programming cleary being there for this to be possible. Resulting in unresponsive/looped dialog.
For the Republic pt 2. bugged. After clearly negotiating with the Great Khans to where you would be able to get them to join you are get stuck in a loop of unresponsive/looped dialog.
Oh My Papa. bugged. After going through most of the quest it requires you to "talk to Col Moore about an alliance" however talking to col. moore results in unresponsive/looped dialog
Aba Daba Honeymoon completely bugged. Unfinishable. Despite having left motor runner alive, returning to him offers no dialog to give him the package.
Numerous massive slowdowns and seemingly random crashes.

I love fallout and Bethesda is an awesome company, but this kind of stuff is trying my patience. I definately will not purchase another product from them unless I see tangible improvement. I would be satisfied with at least being able to complete all missions i was able to accept..

There is at least a workaround to the caravan deck problem. Put the loose cards in a container and pick them back up, or give them to a companion and then take them back. They'll be added to your caravan deck.

For The Republic is bugged in another place as well, actually. If you do the quest "How Little We Know" before talking to Liza O'Malley, she won't have the dialogue option in reference to the Omertas.

Hold out weapons + get stabby with the Omertas.

It gives you the option to go back and lie to Moore, and even if you fail the story line moves on.

Kill Big Sal and Nero.

Haha, well thank you, but fortunately, I save quite frequently. :] I actually had a save right in the middle of that quest (which I did immediately before trying to talk to Liza), so I lost maybe 20 minutes of gameplay at most. I had completed the quest by killing Big Sal and Nero, too, so I'm not sure if FTR would have updated if I killed Cachino as well. But thanks, that's helpful to know. :]
