All of a sudden Cass disappeared, so I loaded an earlier save, and she was just dead on the floor right behind me. I know she didn't die then, when I try to search her body it doesn't let me, and I still have her perk. It also seems she disappeared from older save files where she should be there.

Or you possibly returned to an inopportune time when you last saved.

I am struggling to keep my companions with me. Markers please!

Companions have a tendency to run into a fight without telling you. They can magically discover dangers that you cannot see. You find out seconds later when you get the a message like "Rex is unconscious" and wonder where that stupid dog went.

Only solution: Save often, manually that is.

It seems like (at least on hardcoe) the bet method I have found is to leave my companions parked outside every entrance that may pose a threat...clear te way a bit and bring them in. It's so much easier not on hardcoe though I still feel like I am babysitting two year olds.

i to am having an issue with my ED-E companion. he somehow died or something of that sort. now all he does is lay on the ground. it still says he is a companion and i cant access my companion wheel to get rid of his so i cant get rex as a companion now. if someone knows what to do or has any tips plz let me know.

well, the thing was, Cass never really died. I fixed this problem by just restarting my xbox and loading the saves again and she was there where she was supposed to be
