If you get the bug about HH purchase bug on steam, you can counter it by purchasing as a gift and send it to your e-mail, its worked for me.

Forgot to mention the one who found how. Its deltadeath93.

if you can't gift it to yourself try removing the item from your cart, closing steam (kill it via task manager to be sure) and re-open then re-add and gift it to yourself? Sounds like it doesn't matter what email address you use, but i used a different one to avoid triggering a code branch that might think you made a mistake by attempting to send yourself a gift.

yeah I removed it from my cart and deleted credit card number and then got it again, clicked on gift, and entered card number.

Self purchase worked after I removed from cart, restarted steam and repurchased for myself. Wooooooooooooooot.

Worked for me. Altho when I clicked on "Open my Gift", Steam crashed. I restarted Steam, it downloaded, and now I have it.
