I have only downloaded one patch since Fallout New Vegas has come out on my XBox 360 but thought that there was a 2nd one that was released. I have cleared my system cache and it downloaded one patch again, but I cannot tell from any of the posts online what the "real" new patch is: version 1.1.0 or 1.0.1. And have no idea how to check the XBox or in game to see what version is running.

I am still having terrible issues with the upgraded ED-E (took him to the brotherhood of steel for armor upgrade) eg. he will stay stuck at the door where I come in, or fast travel to (yes I have tried telling him to stay, exiting the companion well and then telling him to follow. But this hardly ever works). Also he has not attacked once since I had him upgraded (tried changing him back and forth from melee to ranged, and have sent him back to the lucky 38).

So I was hoping there were 2 patches now for the XBox, any help would be great, thanks

From what I was told there was a patch for the xbox on Oct 26th. That being said, I have only gotten the one system update the day it was released and nothing further. I dont know what this patch was on the 26th, but the dev said there was only one update for the xbox, that being the initial update on release day. So what the patch was on the 26th across all three platforms as stated below I have no clue.

The game was released earlier than the 26th, and no one seems to be able to tell me what the patch, which mentions the xbox, on the 26th was for. To answer your other question, there is no way I can find to see what version of the game we have on xbox.

Yeah, I got a patch about a week or a couple days after it came out, and they have been talking about a patch at the end of October, but I haven't seen anything. Does anyone know for sure/how to make sure if the Xbox is on the newest patch?

From Yesterday:

We’ve come up with solutions for the Xbox 360 save issue folks are reporting, along with a number of other issues being reported. We’re currently running final testing and certification on a comprehensive patch for all three platforms (PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), so we’ll have something available in the coming weeks. When we have more details, we’ll let you know.

In the meantime, an incremental update for PC should be going up by early next week that will fix the save corruption issues and problems with companions, as well as improve performance for NVIDIA users and resolve some issues reported with Havok.

Pause the game and go into the settings like for gameplay and display, in the lower left corner of the screen it displays the version number.

and what about the black screen of death / strip issue ??!

Yeah, it's under Settings > Display. Kinda strange place to have it, and only have it there.

Running version 1.1.0.253 so I guess there has only been one patch so far, and I'm guessing that was the one with the 200 bug fixes. I was hoping I hadn't got that one yet because I'm still having so many bugs >.> At least it looks like we will have a newerer patch soonish, thanks for the info everyone
