Can I get a list of Animals that are or are not affected by the Animal Friend Perk. I chose the perk, ran into Fire Gecko Hunter, and it attacked me. If Geckos don't count as animals, I'm worried that other creatures that I would expect wouldn't count either.

Brahmin, Big Horners, Giant Rats, Mole Rats, Night Stalkers, Coyotes (incl. Den Mothers), Geckos, Golden Geckos, Fire Geckos, Dogs, Wild Dogs, Vicious Dogs, Legion Mongrels, NCR Dogs, BoS Dogs, Fiend Dogs, Khan Dogs, and Powder Ganger Dogs.

Not sure why the fire gecko attacked you.

Wait wait wait, faction dogs won't attack you with Animal Friend? Blast my 4 charisma!

Well, at least not unprovoked...but I don't know if attacking their masters (or their masters attacking you) will provoke them.

i'm not sure about in new vegas.. but in FO3 even though you attack the owner it never attacked...

and about fire gecko thing. i never look closely enough animal friend perk in new vegas

it might need more then one rank??

cause back in FO3 if you just give one point to animal friend Yao g whatever thing still attack you

Actually, in F3, a single rank prevents Yao Guai from attacking you. The second rank just makes them back you up if something nearby attacks you. Fire Geckos shouldn't be attacking you, however, if you have the perk. Probably just a glitch.

Thanks, If I continue to play the game (still trying to get over the Invisible Wall Issues), but that is something that should be fixed rather easily. I enjoy the Animal Friend perk because it removes a class of baddies from the fight. BTW, does anyone know if the Yao Guai is in this game?
