i pre ordered fallout new vegas so when i get the code for the bonus will i only get it once because im not going to play hardcoe on my first playthrough so will i get the bonus again on multiple characters as long as its on the same gamertag

I think so, but I'm 100% sure, you should PM one of the devs to find out for certain.

The code is a redeemed code asociated to your live account,so it will always be there,even on other playthroughs,you only use the code once.
It works similar to downloadable content.
Example: i bought forza 3 with one of these codes,put it in played the game etc,then a month later i deleted everything,reinstalled forza,then went to download content,& the thing i got with the code was there,just re-downloaded it.Once you pay for DLC or get a redeemed code its there all the time on record in your account,it will have a tick next to it meaning you can re-download it for free.

Maybe in some situations,but either way its similar to DLC ,so he has nothing to worry about.
I had a code for Red Dead Redemption....& i'm sure i could only use that code once,it would'nt let me re-use it,as there is no need too.

If i used a redeemed code etc on my console,then bought another console,i would still be able to use it.

Point is whether he's on xbox,PC or PS3,he has nothing to worry about.
The fact that its associated to an account means they can keep track of what people have paid for,meaning they dont have to pay twice & that includes getting a new console.
You can still use DLC or codes on another console,you just cant play them off-line,unless you register that new console.

You only have to use the code once, and then every time you start a new game you'll get your pre-order bonus. It's the way bonus content has worked for a while now.

You can only redeem that code once, but after that, the pre-order stuff is tied to your LIVE/PSN/STEAM account, and you can download/use it as much as you want.
