Adding new armor?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 8:18 am

I have permission from another modder to incoperate his armor into my mod. I am having trouble making the armor in the GECK. eg, adding the new meshes and such . Could someone please give me a detailed tutorial or post a link to one.

Cheers,

Shadowform.

There are many tutorials; you can look in the fallout3nexus.com forums under modding, for a number of FAQs which apply to FNV as well. One good tutorial in the area you mention is http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/264709-creating-a-new-3d-item-say-a-hammer.

THanks thats some good information. But all I need to know is how to make the armor in the GECK. Like Armor -> Rightclick -> New. Adding the meshes and stuff.

Cheers,

I will answer your first question, but then you will have more questions, and all of them are already answered in the tutorials. You can learn more, faster, by reading the tutorials compared to asking one question here and waiting for an answer.

Find an existing armor in the object window and make a copy of it by typing a new name. Then double click to edit the armor. In the armor dialog, click the button on the right side to set the male biped model.
