16 hours in, no real issues until now.

SPOILERS AHEAD


Just before meeting with the Legion and heading to Caesar, I told Boone and Rex to meet me at Lucky 38. I did what I needed to do across the river, including getting a new dog brain. I went back to Lucky 38 to pick up Boone and Rex. First of all, instead of waiting for me at Lucky 38, I had to pick up Rex at King's. Not a big deal.

Boone, on the other hand, much more annoying issue. After he confronted me about working for Caesar, I promised him I wasn't anymore. Then I invited him back into the party. He follows, but every time he catches up, he initiates a conversation. I end the chat, and move away. He'll follow, but when he catches up again, he initiates a conversation again..

Anyone else run into this? Know of a fix?

I am also having the same issue with Boone, he will run up to me and ask "What is it?" constantly. My problem also happened when I left him in Lucky 38 to visit the Legion to upgrade the securitrons and gained standing with the Legion. After finishing I went back to Lucky 38 and he told me not to deal with them anymore, I agreed and he joined me again. Now he is stuck in a conversation loop unless I telll him to wait or drop him as a follower.

edit: Just restarted Steam and applied the patch. Works fine now. Thanks Bethesda!
