I think they should bring back some of the music from fallout 1 & 2, like 'Metallic Monks' and 'Vats of Goo'.

They are doing just that. We don't know what tracks they're bringing back, but they are. To be more specific, some of the music will be mixed with the new stuff, and some of the old music will be played in some specific locations.

They should release a couple of tracks for previewing like Bethesda did with Fallout 3.

There's a podcast on here somewhere with some of the atmospheric music... vast improvement on FO3...

I know, I've heard it; and agree that it sounds much better than the Fallout 3 music. But few seconds with talking over it doesn't really give you anything else but a drop of water on the tip of your tongue, so to speak.
