Ok, so this is what happened: I went to go back into the Strip but it black screens and I have to turn my X-box off then on again. It corrupted my autosave so I went back to my last save and tried it again, same thing hapened. I tried to go in through the Mcarran monorail but it froze and now when I try to load my last save it shows the loading screen, I hear a breif moment of the radio then it freezes on the load screen. Asuming this was maybe a scratch I exchanged it for a new one but it is still hapening making it unplayable.

My game freezes every time I try to enter the VATS without fail. I tried doing the system cache and it didn't work. This game could be fun if I could play it.

I have the same issue and can't finish the game now since I completed all other quests that doesn't involve walking into that part of the strip... the problem is the man you have to kill to complete the dept collection quest has a very special hat that if you don't keep it on it will crash the game it's a magic hat that must have an owner or it will be mad xD

There's a workaround for this glitch until the patch comes out, and about 30 posts already about this same thing that you didn't read before just coming here and selfishly starting a new thread. Find an Old Cowboy Hat and wear it onto the strip.
