Is there a known work around for the Great Khans bug where Melissa disappears while trying to convince the Great Khans to change from Caesar's army to the NCR? She is know where to be found or is it a case for waiting for a patch?

there is a way,by talking to i think General Moore at Hoover dam and agreeing to assassinate Papa Khan(kill him without being seen,so you are still in the khans good books),so that Regis can take over ...i myself am waiting for a patch just to see if this gets fixed,as i would rather do it that way,i have no beef with Papa Khan :foodndrink:

yea same here, guess im just gonna have to let this quest rot on my list for a while for whenever they feel like fixing it =\. whats sad is this isnt the only quest ive got thats stuck from a bug...

hmm,well i just tried to go to Moore and do the quest as i said above,but she isn't giving me the option to 'take out Papa Khan' so i guess i am still stuck...TBH,i am thinking of trading in the game and then picking it up again at a later date,as they said recently the patch will be out in a few weeks and i can get another game and finish that game in that time,i know Fallout New Vegas is a great game(or at least can be or will be),but right now i am getting more and more frustrated

Well that svcks. I guess if you have taken the quest so far it will end any change in an alternative route. You could just break in and kill him in his sleep? C4 on his bunk, although not sure if the detonator works from outside.
