Bethesda, please fix this problem in the next patch

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 2:21 am

I haven't been able to finish The King's missions because they show up as finished and there is nothing new. It happened after I got killed trying to kill one of his bodyguards or something like that and then I tried to re-do it but I couldn't. I really don't want to start the old saved games because I would lose my xp level and i wanna do the missions with my current XP level which is maxed out. If you could fix that it would be awesome,. thanks!

Also can you guys make fallout so when you reload an old saved game you load it with your latest xp level. It's kind of a pain trying to start all over again just to finish some crucial missions about the story. i hate having to start new with 0 xp level when I've finished the game and gotten maxed out xp level.

THANK YOU!!!

I believe the game you're looking for is called "Dead Rising 2". Go play it instead.

I am not too sure what you're talking about. You tried to re-kill the King's bodyguard and you couldn't? How so? And what's wrong with loading old saved games with the level you were when you made the save? Are you trying to say that you want to hit level 30 then be able to reload a save you made 2 hours into the game and play from there as lvl 30? And also, no need to keep saying "xp level".. the people here get what you mean by simply saying "lvl". And assigning actual values to the levels respectively would help sort this mess of a post out.

Sounds like you want what some other games call a "new game plus" where you start over but keep your lvls, loot and money. This is a terrible idea and I hope its never implemented for any Fallout game.

Oh they also do it in Diablo II (and probably Diablo, I never played it). There you go, go play that instead then. No Fallout game has ever had what you're suggesting and I doubt it will, because in a game like this it's stupid... so you want to go back to a save 2 hours in and walk through every quest with your stats cranked up? I assume you're also the type of person that likes to play basketball against children or football against the elderly?
