A small thing, but does anyone hope it'll be possible to speak with Mr. New Vegas? (Assuming he has any sense of self awareness)

I think Mr. House created him. He could be in lucky 38

I thought I read Mr. New Vegas' recordings were before the bombs dropped. Then again, I heard them say he gives updates on what the player has done in the game. So who knows? I think it would be cool to speak to him.

Well there is a screen shot of the LV Radio Station on The Vault, so I ASSUME he is in there. But, I could very well be wrong.

I don't get it, they say it's recordings before the war. But then they say he updates things about you. I also want to know, a Vault Dweller is a pretty big deal and I could understand why Three Dog would be all over that. But a Courier?? I don't get why you would get famous for being a courier.

Well, the Lone Wanderer wasn't famous just for coming from the Vault, initially yes, but over time your actions become what you are famous/infamous for doing. The same applies to the courier. It'll be neat hearing a new DJ, but I will miss 'THREE DOG AWOOOOOOO, comin to you loud and proud from Galaxy News Radio' :sadvaultboy:

He's been programmed before The War. There's nothing to stop him from talking to you, if he's anything like the other AIs we've met in the series.

It's not about fame, it's about news. Mr. Vegas will just be reporting on what's happening in the world, and the player character's actions will I'm sure be pretty significant. Hopefully there will be more dynamics than just the player character's actions this time around though; it really bugged me how it felt like the Lone Wanderer seemed to be the only person doing anything following their departure from Vault 101.

Same, plus you'd think Three Dog would use his Microphone as a rallying cry to help clean and rebuild D.C. of Mutants and etc. So I really hope to hear. The latest scores at the race tracks or some other small PC unrelated news. The littlest things build the biggest world.

It would be interesting if his pre-war programming instructed him to intersperse ads in his radio show, so you hear him spouting praise for 'Corvega' or other such dead companies.

That.....is a GRAND idea. (I love pre-war stuff, so making it feel like pre-war radio would be a really nifty thing if you ask me.)

Me too I love pre war that's the only outfits I wear haha. I would like it if he was advertising "Corvega" or whatever. I also need stupid Bethesda to come out with some "Super Duper Mart" or "Corvega" posters. That kinda stuff. :fallout:

I just miss Three Dog. There was just something about how he talked about me like a hero.

I would hope that the events are mentioned more than the courier him/herself, at least for most of the game. Maybe when it becomes very clear to everyone that you have been precipitating all of the major things that have been happening.

Yeah, it would be nice if references to you were really vague at first, and then when your involvement becomes integral or you actually meet this guy, you start hearing direct info about yourself. It wasn't all that strange when Three Dog mentioned me relatively early though since I did big things like diffuse the Megaton bomb. Still it would be nice to have to work up your reputation.
