So I did use the search engine, but I was unable to find any specific and hard facts about weather. While I am asking of what kind of weather well see (I know there's some snow but will it ever be snowing), such as snow and clouds and such.
The main thing I was hoping for was rain, especially considering there is now some vegetation it feels natural if there was any raining, but I always felt that rain in Oblivion just kicked the immersion into overdrive and really got me into the game.
So what im really asking is, what kind of weather will we be having, and WILL THERE BE RAIN??

I don't believe there will be any weather akin to Oblivion, but it will look less depressing than F3 did in the skies.

I do recall something about the weather but I think all that was mentioned was that some areas would be noticably windier than others
with regards to dust being kicked up

Other than that though there won't be anything such as rain
just some blue skies to lighten the mood

I love when dust kicked up in Fallout 3, it made me feel like I was in the Wild West, and now with us being IN the West. I can't wait for dust storms and the like :celebration:

Doubtful there will be rain. As I have stated in the last 15 threads asking about weather, the rain patterns in Las Vegas are not conducive to rain in the game. When it does rain there, it is mostly 15 or 20 minute showers/storms. With the game clock they way that it is, to be real, it would be a brief spurt of water then go away. The game engine can only be set to make it rain for large periods of the day (Oblivion would rain for 12 game hours, then switch to something else, or rain again) Not sure if the period of time can be altered, but given the way rain works, it still would not be right in the game. The rain we be over about the time you noticed it raining.

Last time I was in Vegas it rained all weekend. So you could have it rain for 10-20 times a year game time. But I really don't care if it rains in the game. Fix all the bugs before add something as insignificant. But if they were to add precipitation I would like to see some snow. A friend of mine was in Vegas and his flight was delayed due to a light dusting (way less then an inch). He said that everyone in Vegas was freaking out because it never snows there. I think this would be interesting if once in 300 ours of game play it snows and all the NPC's just start running around going crazy. Perhaps a super mutant doing snow angels.

I live in Vegas, and it does in fact rain. I wouldn't be surprised to see if rain made an appearance.

Areas will have different weather, i.e. snow in some areas, dust clouds and wind in others, but there will be no rain. Producer Tess Treadwell confirmed it in an interview, look above for the link.
