Hello, I have a problem and i dont know what it is and if anyone else has this glitch, but i have a red square with a white exclamation mark on top of my character; when i go to 3rd person and sometimes 1st.
I have a theory as to what triggers it.
On my 1st play through I didnt know what it was, so i deleted that file and started over, bumber for me cuz i didnt get to finish it.
On my 2nd play through I bought a laser sight mod for the 10mm pistol. I equipped it to my weathered 10mm pistol and the glitch came up.
and my mod is not equipped.
So I think it's CERTAIN TYPES MODS that trigger this glitch.
Can anyone tell if im right or if they have the same problem. I really like the game, but I would like this to be fixed before I continue playing this it.

It's any mod for the 10mm pistol. I don't know why; but Obsidian or Bethesda never put the meshes for a modded version of that gun in the game. That mark means the meshes are missing.

I feel like it not just the 10mm pistol through, I remember it happening to me on my 1st play through, after i did a little trading and gun modding i believe, cant remember though.

I have the exact same problem when I moded my weathered 10mm pistol. Which is a real bummer considering I really liked using this gun compared to a lot of the weapons you get at the beginning of the game. Also the big red box obscures your vision and makes using this weapon accuretly impossible. And this also occured when I would sit down and play the slots in the little casino in Freeside. I reported this error on the day FNV was released to Bethesda Blog. When the first and only patch (so far) came out a couple of days later, I had hoped that this error was expected and would fix the problem. But ney, the patch was only for some gramatical errors in the storyline, which the patch didn't fix on my copy and caused some other glitches to pop up. It really is so sad.

Can they give out a free DLC with those meshes? If a patch won't cover it.
