Can some one plz help me...

I disguised yesterday... and didn't really know what to do. I couldn't back stab a-la TF2.
So I was hella confused.

I tried to hack... but I don't think that worked either. So... what's it for? Other than moving behind enemy lines?

Thats it, You look like one of the enemy and they can't tell the difference other then your actions or an enemy operative marking you.

You should get a sticky grenade and tag someone from behind.

Well you can spot enemy mines with you being revealed. If you have homing beacon, the same applies. That's about it though, I think you can take over command posts without being revealed until you are finished but I'm not too sure about this.

The point of disguising is to allow the operative to get into a more optimal position for them to be able to use their abilities. For instance, disguising allows them to use homing beacon and spot mines, giving friendly players wallhacks. Disguising allows them to penetrate enemy lines, letting them go into spots behind the enemy to flank and catch enemies off guard. Another useful note is that when playing as operative, it's optimal to pick off guys that are alone and stationary, like a camping sniper or engineer. Just equip the pistol while disguised and spam your knife, Comm hack them, and then don their skin. Voila, free kill and hacks for your team.

This game is not Team Fortress Two sir, there isnt no backstabbing or crab walking here. The main goal of being able to disguise is to get a point of view from their perspective and exploit them, for example, you can take out their mines, their snipers, hell you can even throw a sticky and then run away.

Or you could, y'know shoot them seeing as stickys are useless.

Especially when you show up in disguise at the start of a major fight, and everyone's distracted.

It also helps that in the bottom of you screen there is a little image of a sticky w/ a bar below that serves as a countdown timer. Once the bar empties...BOOM.
It's great if you want to rush out right when the grenade goes off.

Meh, i prefer switching to my pistol and two hitting people instantaneously out of my disguise, then comms hacking them and redisguising as then. Keeps you pretty much constantly disguised with almost infinite comms hacks if your doing it right.

Calm down, son. There isn't a reason why you shouldn't stab people in the back if they're alone. I mean, I guess you can leave that sniper that's just sitting there headshotting your teammates from across the map, nothings stopping you from not killing him, but I'd grow some balls and kill him because I don't like it when people kill my friends.

Also, I've always felt that stickies were useless. Put it on a guy, and he runs away to his friends, who hit it off. At least let the sticky detonate after it gets hit off...
