Got Brink on 5/10 and to this day have not been able to download day 1 update. My Xbox Slim says that the update is there - but when I say to download it times out and says that it can not connect to Live - which I can because I see my friends status just fine.

Anyone else having this problem?

Does Splash Damage offer a different way to get the 3 MB file for fixing my game?

Yes, I have contacted Xbox support - they were unable to fix - tied clearing memory (hard drive) cache and tried removing dashboard update and reloading dashboard update from Live - both have made no difference in applying the day 1 update.

Any thoughts - ?? Otherwise love the game! Finally a multi player game I don't feel like a bullet sponge with!

You're not missing out on anything, it's unplayable anyway.

Yeah, the day one patch didn't really fix much.

Though a better patch is promised to be on it's way, so don't give up on Brink just yet.

Yeah man i cant wait for that patch to be released does anyone have any idea when itll be out

Hope soon! We need a freeze fix especially for the german version that's for sure.
