Freezing when it loads : Othor Games

got a brand new brink disc yesterday, and put it in all happy. I manage to customize my character, but when I search for any game on any map, the speech normally starts, but then it freezes. And it freezes all the time when its loading, whether online or not.
It is not the german version it is the UK one and I have tried clearing cache, starting a new game, deleting savegames, installing/uninstalling and all that stuff so please don't say them

i have the same problem. I can not even install the game on the hard disk because its freezing at 52%. Pls do smth with that.

Same problem - xbox system freeze only reboot works.

I have been trying to get the game started for the last hour. If it does not lock up when I start to build a new character, I get a message to re-download the latest patch. This is after I completely removed the game from the hard drive twice, losing the characters that I built up from receiving the game on Tuesday. This is getting ridiculous, I can't believe this. I have spent more time just trying to get the game to run, I haven't even had a chance to experience the pleasure of the lag situation.
I'm ready to through the disc out the window, and never try another Bethesda game again. I would sell it but I don't want to pass the crap on to anyone else.

Hmm, I thinkk it might be the actual disc? I think I can get a replacement.... so i'll try and post back in like a week

Well, I wouldn't say "... never try another Bethesda game again...", because the game wasn't actually made by Bethesda, it was really made by Splash Damage, so SD is the real person to blame here.

But I've also had the freezing problem. I've been able to get to lv. 10, and play a couple games every day, but then it either freezes, or it says: "Disc cannot be read." Also, I have a brand new disc, and it's already getting a bit scratched up! But the thing is I have a REFURBISHED original 360, and about 2 months ago, it ate the crap out of my friend's DS 2 disc. It would always say when I tried to play it on campaign: "Disc cannot be read." But I could play the multiplayer trial though...
