Bethesda! pls make a disable bloom effect option :c

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 12:24 pm

Yea yea i know u guys r gonna say its not true . But most fps problems are caused by the bloom effect in the game!
Brink specifies on cool graphics and uses all around beautiful bloom effects..
and there is our problem.
The bloom effect in this game may not be as clear to us as we see it ( in other games we can bcs it looks fuzzy) but this is bcs brink made a rlly good job of using it.
Of course the game wouldnt look as good without this effect but it will defenetly give us a btr performance during on- and offline play.
I hope the upcoming update makes it possible to change it :/
PLS COMMENT!! :D

What also needs to happen is unlocking of the post processing effects command. It's lagging ATI cards violently in open areas.

Hey man, do this, launch the game, disable Soft particles and High Quality Post Processing within the Advanced menu. Restart your game, check your options, make sure it is unchecked.
I warn you, if you wish to disable these two for the moment as a temporary fix. Disable them first before you play any matches and relaunch and have fun.
