Auto Harvest Item modded yet?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:01 pm

I'm always paranoid that I'm missing harvest items cause I'm not used to looking for them. Anyone made an auto harvest item yet??? I figured since the engine was similiar to oblivion one might have popped up already but the Nexus didn't seem to have any related items.

The game already changes the graphic when you harvest something. Are you saying that you want it to completely remove the object becuase you can't tell the difference between the two models they currently use?

Those type of mods usually take a while to produce. They don't come out until the game has been out for while.

No - what he's looking for is an object that automatically harvests items when he gets near them. You could do that by sticking a script on a bunch of different game objects and it wouldn't be too difficult, but it would be a bit time consuming.

Yea that would be the one. So far there doesn't seem to be an overwhelming amount of plants like in Oblivion so it shouldn't be to horrible resource wise. Even on an old 2.4 w/ 1 gig ram Obliv ran fine with a harvesting script. That same computer can run Fallout, so I'd assume it could run Vegas. I'm not using it anymore but just to point out that I don't think a script of that nature would be to resource hogging.
