[Req] Merchants Money

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:28 am

I usually carry a big load to a merchant or traveling merchant and i expect a big pay out but when i start selling near 3,000 caps worth of stuff they have 158 caps to give me? i would love a new merchant economy mod like where they can make money off other npcs and that way you go back each time with stuff to sell stuff they have more than 300 caps. and maybe start them out at 5,000 caps would be wicked to.

I can quickly setup a merchant for you with a hell of alot of caps if you wish. Will tie you down till someone makes a New Vegas version of the Economy mods seen in Oblivion/FO3.

Most big-time merchants I've seen actually start with a decent amount of caps - the Goodsprings guy starts with over 1000, for example. It's the little people by the side of the road that tend not to have many caps available.

Still, making some of them (BOS and NCR quartermasters, perhaps) have even more caps available would be cool, too.

Fallout 3 mods seem to work with New Vegas. It sounds like the currency wouldn't be tied to any specific NPCs so shouldn't it work?

Where did you see/hear that?...

Edit: Done, here's the link for a merchant with 65,000 caps for you.
