Pip Boy freeze

I am also having the same problems as many other people with CTDs due to graphics problems. The game worked well for me for an hour or two, and then everything started falling apart. The screen would freeze and then go white. The music would continue to play in the background, but I could do nothing. The only way to get out of this mess was to hit CTRL-ALT-DEL. I have tried all the suggestions about turning off the water graphics, downloading new driver for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 card, but none of it has helped. Now, whenever I attempt to play again, I cannot even open my pipboy without everything freezing, and then a CTD. As with all the rest of you, I am SICK of this trouble!
