How many times has this game froze your system and you had to hard reboot.

Ill wait for the PS3 patch that is undoubtedly going to fix things like texture bugs, but leave the important stuff.

Or is going to come out a month after the xbox one.

This isn't even fun.

After about 3 hours of playing I opened my pipboy and the game froze.

Mine froze after about 30min of game play. After hard reboot I went to load my saved game and it froze again during loading now it won't load at all without freezing. Should I give up until the patch and just read the game guide? But I want to play the game SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad.

I'am at about 5 freezes so far, 4 happened while tring to enter Novac before i finally gave up on going there, and then it froze when i left the hotel in Westside after lagging real bad for about 10 seconds.

Since adding the Classic Pack, I've had right around 23 freezes in the last day and a half. Here lately, the freezes start happening faster and faster. Last game play time: 3 minutes. This is after letting my system cool down for like two hours. What's wrose is that I don't have the freezing problem others have. I can walk into these towns that people freeze on no problem. 90% of my freezes come from walking randomly through the wasteland. The other 10% comes from loading screens. Pre Classic Pack, I went 15 hours without a single hiccup. This is quite horrible.

I've played a total of 28 hours. In that time, I've had almost a freeze for every hour of playtime. My only reaction is: WTF-ity-F!

Mine is 5... First two were after about 2:30 of play. Last three were the following day, but started only 30 minutes into the game. Total play time the second day was an hour (3 in an hour)

Now the bluray drive in my PS3 is shot, so I am waiting on a new drive. Hopefully there are some patches available by the time I get my drive

Damn,,, I could never freeze that many times and continue playing. After got a blue screen once. I'm being very careful.

mine are full system crashes where nothing responds at all and I just eject the disc at the front of the console
and then after a few seconds the PS3 beeps and restarts itself, which I'm pretty sure is real good for the system... lol..

My fallout 3 GOTY does exactly the same thing, I haven't played it for months as a result...
so what this tells me is that it's never going to be fixed because if it was possible to fix it they would have fixed FO3 but it never happened
and since FONV is doing the same thing, well...


and I know it's not my PS3 system that is causing this because I have other games I play for 8 to 10 straight hours and they never crash or even stutter...

the sad part is that this could be a game I would keep around a long, long time and keep playing again and again for years, but since it doesn't work without crashing, well....

I've lost count to be honest. /: I can tell you my fastest freeze was within like five minutes of loading my save.

ON day 1 i only had one freeze. Day two I had 4 (When trying to get Meyer to be Sheriff and needing to go to the correctional facility) . Today i had 5.... 3 times just shopping in Goodsprings (only happened when I bought the extended clip for the 9mm) and twice when I found this cave area over by the Legion Raid Camp (as soon as the name showed up it froze) where the Powder Gangers are tied up.
